I think I have to quit D+ if they don't show football from Argentina. However, I will wait until next week and see which broadcaster will show the Apertura.

A message on the MundoPlus site said it was moving over to TVE, in which case it might be on TeleDeporte. Unfortunately, because that channel is 24hour Olympic for the next two weeks, there won't be anything on it until the Games are over. I also hope that they keep the original Argentine commentators, Nelson, Fabbri, Vignolo etc. The last thing I want is some miserable Spaniard with no passion for the game mumbling names of players he's never heard of, with only a distant sound of the crowd chants. It's very sad how Digital Plus has declined over the last couple of years. If TeleDeporte has Liga Argentina I will stay, as I watch a lot of Telefe as well, surely Spain cannot be without Argentine football as it is so popular?

I don´t think that RTVE has the rights for the Argentinian League because they haven´t enough space to show a huge number of games. Mediapro would be more realistic although there are no further information.
If anyone has more information, please tell us. I will do the same.

I've never heard of Mediapro until now. I googled it, and found they have PPV rights for La Liga in Spain. Where can you watch Mediapro? Is it on Astra 19.2 or some other satellite. This is the thread where they are debating it on MundoPlus. one of the posters mentions TVE. It's confirmed Digital Plus has lost Liga Argentina, Bundesliga and Eredivisie. www.mundoplus.tv/foros/viewtopic.php?t=41906&start=675

Just checked the Media Pro website. www.mediapro.es/es/espanol.htmGo to Géstion de derechos then Deportivos then futbol, Argentina is NOT mentioned. Ligas europeas Derechos para España de las ligas de: Alemania Francia Italia Portugal Holanda Ecuador Colombia So at the moment, no-one has the rights to Argentina in Spain.

Yes, Mediapro has this rights but maybe they will sell some of this as they did with the Ecuadorian League (this league is still on D+).

I have been waiting to see if and when we will see the Apertura back on D+ but its looking bad, it was the only broadcaster showing the games with the originale commentators, watched games on other channels but the sound mix and commentory is awful, its so quiet you could think the stadium was empty!!!
The feeds coming from 43W are also now locked. bad!!
Lets hope some good news soon.

Mediapro has bought the rights for Argentina. It´s a shame that there will be obviously no chance to watch their new channel Gol TV.
