I would guess that the problem is that Astra si on the prime focus lnb and Hotbird is on the offset, you could try setting it up the other way around i.e. align dish to Hotbird with lnb looking at centre of dish...

Hi guys
I currently have the basic sky system. I understand that if I had a satellite system I could get a lot of channels with premiership football on saturdays?? Is this true?? What channels are these games on??

yes there are between 2 and 4 games available each saturday at 3pm on european channels such as ART Sports, Multivision 8, TPS Star etc these can not be received using your existing sky system you need a proper digital receiver, dish etc

Hi mate
Just a few questions - I'm going to purchase a satellite system soon, but I'm new to this:
1/. With these live premiership matches on saturdays at 3pm, do you have to pay for them or are they free??
2/. Is the commentary in english mostly??
3/. Would a motorised dish be best?? Do you have any idea how much I should pay for one??
Sorry to be a nuisance with these basic questions! Thanks again.

1. you can subscribe to some channels and others can be watched with suitable equipment 2. english commentary only on the pay channels like ART, supersport, c+sport etc 3. yes motorised is best. 1metre dish and stab mount about 150pounds
