LFCLiverpool supporters around the world will soon be tuning into a new weekly three-hour television show that the club are producing for fans overseas.
The three-hour show - entitled 'LiverpoolFC TV' - will feature a minimum of three hours of action and other features each week, bringing Premiership and Champions League matches to the screen.
The package will include a roundup of the week's news, pre-match build-up and analysis, and also feature:
Exclusive interviews with stars like Djibril Cisse, Harry Kewell, Michael Owen and Steven Gerrard
Classic matches from Liverpool's colourful and glorious history
Archive documentaries about the men who shaped Liverpool Football Club
TWI is currently distributing the show to interested broadcasters all over the world - making sought-after games and up-to-date news available for the first time in many countries.
Delayed full coverage and highlights of each UEFA Champions League game, and all 38 Premier League match will be on offer to millions of Kopites worldwide.
Chief Executive Rick Parry told the club's official website: "We're delighted to announce the launch of LiverpoolFC TV. I think it's great news that fans from all over the world will be able to follow the team in action every week and hopefully through the show, we'll also be able to attract new fans to the club."
Michael Mellor, Senior International Vice President of TWI, LiverpoolFC TV's distributor, believes there's never been a better time for the club to launch an overseas mini-channel. He told liverpoolfc.tv: "TWI is delighted to be working with Liverpool at a time when the club is enjoying an ever increasing amount of global interest."
Unfortunately, due to the current Premiership television rights in this country, a 'mini-channel' like LiverpoolFC TV cannot be broadcast in this country. In order for a Premiership club to host their own TV channel in the UK or Ireland, over 40 hours of content must be produced each week and still the channel can't show live first team matches.
Rick Parry explained: "Until the situation changes and we can show live games, it doesn't actually make a great deal of sense. What's important is that we continue to invest in the team rather than lose money running a TV channel."
LiverpoolFC TV kicks off on August 15.
