;Dhi there at the beggining of this season i baught myself a digitalb, art and jsc card and thought that i would have a great package and be able to watch so much great football. like others i think i have been really dissapionted with how many games i have actually been able to watch and how reliable most of these stations have been. what is everyones thought on this, are we at a ggod stage now in the season to put our heads together and be able to work out which is the best package for us all to have to see the best amount of games. personally for me i have been let down on 3pm games, scottish premiere league, champion league and international matches, no of the channels that i subscribe to have been reliable on the games. anyone any ideas what would be the best package to get the best of these games, i have looked at a number of channels like ,polsat, premiere, calcio and nova, can anyone tell me if they have these channels and if they are any good and whether they are in english, its not just football i am interested in as i would like to see all sports and all other leagues in football from around the world and europe. also only satelites that are available in europe and not people saying showtime etc. hopefully we can clear up which is the best cards to go for as i am sure i am not the only person that is feeling let down and not clear about which card to go for. i look forward to hearing everyones thoughts on this robbie

I agree with you, i think this year it has been a real disapointment for me too. I have sky sports, setanta sports, arabesque, canalsat, canal+ france and jsc. I've sold jsc and might sold my arabesque card.
The trouble now it that rules and games almost changed everyday.
For exemple, paris saint germain right for UEFA. They are selling, the home games, the away games, and the games from the quarter finals. And not the same channel will show all the games.
Even if you pay a lot of money every year you're not sure to be able to watch everything, the 3pm english games are a good exemple.
If you want to be able to watch you're team in France, you need to pay 2 subscription, orange TV, canal+ and the on demand games. Which wil be around 70 euros at least just for one championship.
And i only talk about subscription.
For me I only have lnb direct to astra 19.2E, astra 28.2E and hotbird. If i want to move sat i will have to buy another system...
So i'm not sure which is the best package, specially because it changes everyday and what wil happen when all the team will be able to own their own right, like it works in italy...

Robbie and others,
I can understand your frustration.
Furthermore when there was a time all EPL was on ART for cheap.
But ART is not a British broadcaster so you had at that time great value (well Fulham-Bolton ain't value at all) for small money.
EPL : Based on next matchday 3PM matches
C+ Scandinavia will show 3 matches Sky Italia will show 3 matches Show Sports will show them all Many providers will only show one match and Digitalb won't show any. (ART - Showtime Magheb should show Arsenal - Everton).
As for SPL :
Polsat & Sky Italia & Sport 1 will each show a match per week.
International matches :
Polsat had both England & Scotland latest qualifications match on.
Polsat, Digitalb & JSC have shown the best International matches these last 10 days.
Champions League :
Isn't ART still showing it ?
ITV shows at least 3/4 matches per round.
Do you have any interest in watching Real - Zenit and alikes ?
What I think is that you have to understand that :
1) Sky with the English FA try to protect their deal. So that's maybe the reason why Digitalb doesn't show any 3PM matches anymore.
But still what u'll see from Intl matches, EPL, Champions League other competitions on Digitalb/ART/JSC will cost you less than paying SKY which is still good value.
And you probably get more from these 3 subscriptions than having Sky/Setanta.
2) Most of the people from the continent would rather watch Roma-Milan, Betis-Sevilla, HSV-Bayern than losing their time on Kick & Rush matches between WBA & Hull City.
This is a different culture and a matter of opinion but remember that these channels have their own local customers and their point is not to attract the British.
3) If you're not satisfied by the 3 cards you have, there are not much solutions.
a- you subscribe to SKY/Setanta
b- you pay the price for Sky Italia or C+ Scandinavia (Hotbird / Thor - some channels are out of reach from Scotland)
c- Google ! Diablo Cam Light 2.3 or Dreambox and spend again quids without any guarantee that it'll work on long term.

some of my frustration has come with 3pm k.o, champions league ( i dont think celtic have been on art sport yet, nor have man utd as i think the last games for them were on art 6 also most of the spl have been on art prime sport and not on magreb or 1 - 4.
i am not saying it is not good value its just i wanted to see if we could put a good selection of cards together to see if we could cover everything.
do polsat only show one game a week, i was thinking of getting it but if they dont show 3pm and the early sat, sun and late monday i might not bother.
good to see they are showing the international matches, i have been lucky with sitel tv on eutelsat for the scotland matches although the picture has been pritty poor.
