When watching the football on Digitalb the picture freezes and the screen blanks out for 5-10 seconds, this can happen up to 10 times during a game which can be quite annoying. I have a 1m dish with a technomate reciever and I live in N.Ireland, Does anybody have an explanation for this?
Thanks in advance.

Maybe the dish is not correctly pointed. I had the same story before and it was on 16e too and sometimes during the transmission my signal was going down from 60% to 30%...

During the black-out periods I press the info button on the remote and the signal is still at 79% it never moves.

1) Test DigitAlb promo on the same transponder.
That will tell you if it's a problem to decode channels or a weak signal.
Check if the cable is correctly pluged in your reciever or LNB before trying to realign dish.
2) Is the card used in a cam or in the card reader slot ?
3) Is any emu turned off while using Digitalb ?

1) Test DigitAlb promo on the same transponder. That will tell you if it's a problem to decode channels or a weak signal. I DID AND IT WAS OK, NO BLACK-OUTS Check if the cable is correctly pluged in your reciever or LNB before trying to realign dish. BOTH CABLES ARE CORRECTLY PLUGGED IN, DIDN'T REALIGN DISH 2) Is the card used in a cam or in the card reader slot ? IT'S USED IN A CARD READER SLOT 3) Is any emu turned off while using Digitalb ? DON'T KNOW WHAT EMU IS.

Oki,
Obviously I can't test it myself but I would suppose that the card reader slot is the problem.
Not at a hardware level but more than probably at a software level.
Anyway now, the best thing is to ask this question on a technical site and ask other persons if they have the same problem with similar TM, firmware version and Digitalb subscription.
or try to test the card in a cam module.

I forgot to mention, sometimes when the black-outs occur there is sometimes one of two messages.. Either, SCRAMBLE CHANNEL or INVALID SMART CARD
